The old building turned into a comfortable and luxurious hotel makes exotic and yet relaxing atmosphere. All the pleasant experiences we had i think are attributed to the welcoming host family and the staffs. They not only know what hospitality means but also practices it quite naturally. I will definitely visit this place again.

Located in Borgo San Giacomo, Agriturismo Padernello provides accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. The property features garden and inner courtyard views. This is one of the best places we've stayed. If you're planning to be in the area, do yourself a favour. It was so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The gardens are filled with wildflowers, bees and cicadas. The old building has been extremely well renovated with modern functionality like smart security and automated gates and lights, while still maintaining the original style and infrastructure with rustic references to its past. Our upstairs room had a direct view to the old castle which looked quite amazing both morning and night. The breakfast is fantastic - wonderful Italian coffee of course, fresh local juices, cheeses and spectacular pastries all made on-site by the host, and when she offers you the omelette, just say yes. It's a fairly traditional old-style less touristy area so the host speaks little English, and our Italian is terrible, but she was extremely helpful and patient in explaining everything we needed to know, even using her phone to show us translations of important information, explaining all the local dining options and offering to make reservations for us.

Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Cascina Mora Bassa is a recently renovated farm stay set in Vigevano, 32 km from MUDEC. The air-conditioned accommodation is 33 km from Darsena. We loved everything! The staff was lovely, very clean and beautiful spaces, amazing breakfast!

Located in Sondrio, within 37 km of Aprica and 45 km of Piona Abbey, Agriturismo B&B Caffè e Vino provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Just wow! The stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The place is fresh new, very clean and modernly designed. All the essentials (towels, sheets, shower soaps) are of the highest quality. The rooms are clean, spacious, air-conditioned and have a nice view to green fields from the balcony. The beds are large and very comfortable. The access is very easy. there is a private parking and a small elevator to get your luggage to the room with ease. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. We were welcomed with complimentary glass of wine (and then a few more :)) and fresh water during the check-in. We then received a detailed introduction to the area around the place, with many good recommendations for the next day. A lot of thing to see and places to visit around for the wine lovers (but not only). The breakfast was amazing: eggs made for our request, juice, vegetables, breads, local cheeses, cookies and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Situated in Morbegno and only 49 km from Villa Carlotta, Il Bisteca features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This farm stay offers a garden as well as a bar. This was an amazing place to stay, despite being near to a road, well, about one or two hundred metres away, you couldn't hear it at night. The B&B is right in the middle of a field surrounded by fabulous views, greenery and places outside to sit. The room had a kettle for making a drink, and tea etc too. The room was lovely and comfortable and had a balcony as well, which was an added bonus. There were places to eat within walking distance, La Lacanada did a gorgeous meal although they were a little standoffish with us when we first walked in, they got better, and the meal was worth it. We had a good sleep, and then had an absolutely amazing breakfast, the staff were lovely, and their choice of music for the breakfast room definitely matched my tastes.
