Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. Everything is amazing. It is expensive, but you get what you pay. I recommend staying for at least 2 nights. I stayed for only one night, and I think I could have enjoyed more (like the gardens and the free rental bike service) if I had more time. Having said that,I thoroughly enjoyed my bedroom, the lounge, restaurant, the baths. The free all you can eat ice cream in the lounge was also a positive surprise.

Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. The food was delicious, plentiful and allowed us to try traditional cuisine as well as some new foods we hadn't tried before. An open mind is required for some of the sashimi's. The futon beds were very comfortable and the bathing room was amazing. The hostesses were so friendly and helpful, we were travelling with our 10 month old and they all loved him and were understanding when he was loud at times. We would love to stay here again in the future. Knowing basic Japanese or using Google translate is highly recommended if visiting this accomodation.

Tamonkan ligger i en historisk byggnad i japansk stil, omgivet av heliga berg och orörd natur. Gratis te och snacks serveras på hotellet. Dewa Shrine ligger 8 minuters promenad bort. Lovely, large room, excellent meals, and wonderful hosts

Miyamaso Takamiya ligger knappt 10 minuters promenad från linbanan Zao Sky och har 9 naturliga varma källor. Hotellets trästruktur erbjuder boende i traditionell japansk stil. Our stay at Takamiya Ryokan Miyamaso was one of our highlights of our honeymoon! The hotel is insanely charming and very well kept. You can see it's an old building but it doesn't look old or worn down. The staff are friendly and polite, and greet you by the door when you arrive and leave the hotel. They were also very accomodating to us when we asked to keep out futons out, as we wanted to take a nap during the day. Dinner and breakfast was amazing and a lovely experience, it was delicious and presented nicely and staff was attentive and friendly. Our suite was amazing, and we loved having our own private bath outside on a balcony overlooking a snowy hill.

Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. The service was top notch and the room with the open-air bath was very nice. It is good value for money too. The surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful. There is a also a shuttle bus to Koiwai farm during the summer.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei ligger precis framför Matsushima-bukten och erbjuder boende med gratis fast internet. Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room with a stunning view over Matsushima bay. Make sure to get breakfast and dinner at the hotel as the food is amazing.

Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- ligger i Kitakami, 42 km från Chūson-ji-templet, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. I didn't take the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Location was good for me since I wanted to walk everyday.
